Course Goal / Objective

Defining basic concepts such as education, training, learning, education and training program, teaching tool and teaching material, understanding the historical development of teaching tools and materials, recognizing the reflection of different learning theories on teacher-student roles and classroom communication, Understanding the features, criteria to be considered in material selection and the benefits of using materials in Turkish teaching, explaining the principles of designing and preparing teaching materials, gaining awareness about the use of e-materials, designing and presenting materials suitable for the selected subject and acquisitions in Turkish teaching.

Course Content

Basic concepts such as education, training, learning, education and training program, teaching tool and teaching material, historical development of teaching tools and materials, reflection of different learning theories on student-teacher roles and classroom communication, teaching materials and features used in teaching environment, teaching material principles of designing and preparing, e-materials used in the teaching process, examining teaching materials that can be used in Turkish lessons, designing and presenting materials.
