Course Goal / Objective
The course aims to explain the importance of the principles of teaching Turkish. Providing of basic knowledge, methods, skills and technics concerning teaching of Turkish in first level of elementary school.
Course Content
The place and importance of mother tongue in human life. Overview of learning fields in Turkish and relationships between these learning fields. Teaching methods and techniques; language skills(Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking) and development of these skills; text knowledge and analysis. Examination of Turkish curriculum and prepare a one-week Turkish lesson instruction plan.
