Course Goal / Objective

To inform you about child development processes; to give information about some basic concepts and research methods used in child development study; to provide an overview of current theories of children's development and also discuss relationships between theories, empirical research strategies and research results; and discussing cultural perceptions about child development

Course Content

Within the scope of this course, the topics of development, factors affecting its development, problems that may be seen in children and the solution of these problems are discussed in childhood from the prenatal period to the end of adolescence.
