Course Goal / Objective
The course aims to raise awareness about the representation of science in the media and aims to train qualified science journalists.
Course Content
The course focuses on the social functions of science and in particular the publicization of science / knowledge. It emphasizes the role of the media in the process of knowledge production and distribution; and in the context of science communication, questions the relations/connections between scientists and the media and society.
