Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to give students a general overview of new media content management and gain the required knowledge and skills. The course covers new business models and digital storytelling techniques emerged with the introduction of digital media and content management skills.
Course Content
The course covers some new media business models in journalism and crowdsourcing/crowdfunding case studies. Digital storytelling techniques and transmedia business models are also examined. In addition, the course examines new media marketing management issues; such as search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) through Google Analytics.
