Course Goal / Objective
The course aims to investigate the meaning and interpretation of traditional Turkish homes in Turkish architecture within the framework of historical chronology. It also aims to introduce the traditional building materials used in the past and is still in use such as natural stone, earth; their definitions, properties, and uses.
Course Content
This course focuses on the effects of values in the culture of Turkish living from ancient times until the recent past in the design of traditional Turkish homes.
