Course Goal / Objective

The objective of this course is to teach students the importance of information management and Information technology used in industry. They will also learn the basics of Experts Systems, Decision Support Systems, Data Mining, ERP software, Logistics Information Systems, Database, e-business, data communications in order to make better decisions. Computer skills of students are also developed through this course.

Course Content

Information Technology basics, hardware, software, database, network, data processing systems, management information systems, decision support systems, expert systems, The Internet and e-business, data mining, logistics information systems, ERP software.
