Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to enable students to learn the steps, techniques and tools in the project life cycle, and how to implement a project more effectively and in good quality. It is also to learn how to communicate with project stakeholders by managing time, risk, cost and quality.
Course Content
The content of the course is to learn the basic concepts in project management; learn and implement the project life cycle; to learn the roles and requirements of the project manager; have mastered the techniques in project management (Gantt, CPM, Pert, et al); to be aware of and use the tools in project management (MS-Project, etc.); to be informed about the problems encountered in project management and to have information about their solutions; to learn the content and management of the components of the project (time, cost, risk, quality, communication, HR, procurement, etc);to learn about project stakeholders by planning, conducting and controlling the project.
