Course Goal / Objective
In this course, the contribution of video to production as a tool in the context of contemporary art will be discussed through the relationship between media, identity, memory, body and image. Within the scope of the course, besides exploring the creation, presentation and analysis processes of moving images in today's video applications, it is also aimed to reconsider the relationship of photographic image over time.
Course Content
Video-art relationship and video art applications with different forms of art will be examined and applied in historical, technical, theoretical and intellectual perspective along with examples. The student will be able to combine his / her field with other branches of art while performing his project within the scope of the course, and to develop himself in the field of art he dominates in conceptual, theoretical and aesthetic aspects.
