Course Goal / Objective

To be able to discuss science and basic concepts (phenomenon, knowledge, absolute, error, universal fact etc.), basics of history of science, Being able to discuss and use structure of scientific research, scientific methods and different perspectives about scientific methods, problem, research model, sampling, data collection, methods in data collection (quantitative and qualitative methods), analysis, interpretation of data and reporting.

Course Content

Science and basic concepts (phenomenon, knowledge, absolute, error, universal fact etc.), basics of history of science, structure of scientific research, scientific methods and different perspectives about scientific methods, problem, research model, sampling, data collection, methods in data collection (quantitative and qualitative methods), analysis, interpretation of data and reporting.
