Course Goal / Objective

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to life span development and adjustments. Emphasis is placed on emprically-based theories, theoretically based interventions, and current issues in the world of life span development.

Course Content

This is an interactive cooperative learning course in which topics are presented by the instructor, discussed and analyzed critically in the classroom according to the needs and the interests of the students to upgrade the understanding about history of developmental psychology, theories, researches and relation to all aspects of life through the questions and objectives. Are people more social as they grow older, Do they have more wisdom, more tolerance, more money, better health, Unedrstanding this age group first to recognize the limits of both predictable and unique changes across the life span, theories of human behavior, current researches, the biological, cognitive and psychological especially emotional areas of human development, individual and common events in peoples social cognitive, emotional and psychological development.
