Course Goal / Objective

The general aim of this course is to provide necessary information about spiritual oriented psychotherapy and psychological counseling.

Course Content

Basic concepts and principles about spiritual counseling; spirituality, morality, psychological counseling and psychotherapy; spiritual counseling, universal values of religion and spirituality in the context of multicultural counseling; development of faith, morality and identity; religious (theological), philosophical, sociological and psychological foundations of spiritual counseling; aid relations in monotheistic religions and eastern religions; mourning, emotional regulation, conscious awareness, well-being, altruism, forgiveness, resistance, authenticity in the context of spiritual counseling; spiritual measurement etc. concepts; ethics in spiritual counseling.
