Course Goal / Objective
To teach the student the formation and evolution of Prehistoric and Ancient Civilizations arts as their social, intellectual, political, economic and geographic dimensions.
Course Content
Prehistoric Arts, Paleolithic Period, Mesolithic and Neolithic Period arts, Ancient Arts, Mesopotamia (Sumer, Akkad, Babylon, Assyria), Egypt, the Aegean (Crete and Mycenae), Anatolia (Hittites, Phrygian, Urartu), Greek, Etruscan and Rome Arts
