Course Goal / Objective

To store geographically referenced bulky data or geospatial data (digitized maps, aerial photo, satellite images, statistical images, etc) designed to provide technical support for the decision makers in planning and management of field use, natural resources, environment, transportation, urban means and all other administrative structures.

Course Content

Map projections, interpretation of maps, cartography, georeferenced data, GPS, spatial analysis (point pattern, network, surface, interpolation, single layer, multi layer and overlay analysis) and spatial modelling
