Course Goal / Objective

In the Printmaking course; The aim of this course is to teach printmaking techniques in which the workshop conditions and technical equipment are appropriate, theoretically and practically.

Course Content

The development of original printmaking throughout history; Periods, artists and their works are examined through examples. Through the prepared designs; It covers knowledge and applied studies of collage technique, stencil printing, mono printing, linoleum printing, wood printing and gravure techniques; By using the technical possibilities of the original printmaking art, they are provided to make creative and original works; In addition, students are provided to associate their work with different disciplines and to comprehend contemporary art practices.
