Course Goal / Objective

To explain and teach the formalist and thematin characters of Turkish societies.

Course Content

In this course, examples of architecture, sculpture and painting from Hun, Göktürk, Uygur, Karahanlı, Ghaznavid, Great Seljuk, Anatolian Seljuk, Principalities and Ottoman periods are examined comparatively. Starting from the Art of the Republic Period, the course also covers contemporary Turkish art works and artists.
