Course Goal / Objective

A deep understanding of basics of macroeconomics, understanding potential gdp (full employment gdp) and current gdp and policies toward potential gdp, the role ofiscal, monetary and foreign trade policies on full employment, the relationship between unempleyment- inflation.

Course Content

Basic macroecomic definations, basic economi systems and thoughts, gdp and its calculation, economic growth, unemployment, inflation, aggregate demand and aggregate supply, aggregate consumption, investment, fiscal and monetary policy, Philips curve analysis.
