Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to explain to students what are the problems of Science and Technology and to show their positive or negative effects on human life.

Course Content

The chronological history of science and technological developments; innovations in science and technology (agriculture, artificial cell, transgenic creatures, electronic, automation), positive effects of these innovations on human life, risks to human health, greenhouse gases and global warming, disaster scenarios, to the future projections.
