Course Goal / Objective

To develop awareness of the principles and methods of landscape architects, acquire information about planting design and the properties of garden and ornamental plants, learn to give the basic design decisions related with the open and green spaces through practice.

Course Content

Fundamental concepts of landscape architecture. History of landscape architecture. Human-nature relationship. Landscape planning and landscape design. Site design and grading. Garden plants. Landscape construction. Analysis of awarded landscape design and planning projects. Preparation of a landscape design project.
