Course Goal / Objective

To convey basic acoustic and noise control issues, to give sufficient information about noise control and room acoustics.

Course Content

In this course, basic information about basic components of sound, definitions and terms related to acoustics, birth and spread of sound, basic principles in noise and control, national and international regulations and standards for noise control, room acoustics design criteria and acoustic defects will be given.
