Course Goal / Objective

To learn the importance of the Ottoman civilization in our history and to give insight into the development of the institution and structure belonging to the formation of Ottoman Culture and Civilization during the historical process and its effects on other civilizations.

LO04 Learns the Ottoman social structure and the characteristics of the religious and ethnic elements that make up this structure and the place of these social groups.
LO05 Learns and explains the development of the Ottoman Economy in the political process, its basic features and its contribution to the Ottoman Civilization.
LO06 Learns the general characteristics, types and activities of Ottoman Education and Training institutions and knows the contributions of these institutions to the Ottoman Civilization.
LO07 Learns the contributions of Ottoman Culture and Civilization to our civilization in the past and today as Universal.
LO08 Learns and knows the elements, basic features and development of Ottoman Art, visual, auditory and affective works of Ottoman art.
