Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to provide students from different disciplines about gender and the basic conceptual and theoretical framework of gender. It aims to critically examine gender related issues with an interdisciplinary approach.
Course Content
Gender Definition and Basic Concepts, Patriarchy, Feminist Theories, Theoretical Approaches to Gender Acquisition, Gender and violence, Gender in education, Masculinity studies
