Information
Course Goal / Objective
In the period from 1750 to the present, analyzing the works of composers of polyphonic music that marked the era, determining their contributions to the art of music, and examining the development of forms.
Course Content
Works that are selected from Music repertoire are studied with 'Partition Analysis on' or 'Listening Analysis' methods. Harmony analysis carried out on partition forms a basis for explanation of forms. Structural characteristics of the works are studied comparatively.
