Course Goal / Objective

To provide knowledge and skills about medical parasites, major parasitic diseases of the medine and dentistry, etiopathogenesis, clinical, laboratory and histopathological findings of human parasites which are important in education of medical parasitology,

LO01 Be able to explain the ways of transmission of parasites causing infectious diseases and protection methods against to parasites
LO02 Be able to list basic and special symptoms, clinical, laboratory and histopathological findings of parasitic diseases
LO03 Describe the methods and basic findings used in laboratory diagnosis of parasitic diseases and its medical importance
LO04 Must be able to count endo and ectoparasite species with prescription in dentistry
LO05 Be able to describe the pathways, evolution and clinical features of medical parasites that are located in the circulatory and respiratory systems
LO06 Be able to count the features of parasites that infect the digestive and excretory system, pathways of transmission, evolution and clinical features
LO07 Be able to apply diagnostic tests for parasitic diseases to laboratory diagnosis and evaluate test results
