Course Goal

To provide students with a clear and thorough presentation of both the theory and application of the important fundamental topics of strength of materials, which is often used.

Course Content

Basic concepts and laws, axial, shear and moment diagrams for beams and frame, stresses and stress transformation, stress, strain, and deformation for basic geometries subjected to axial, torsional and bending loading.
