Course Goal / Objective
This part of the course is designed further to introduce and master the microeconomics issues in addition to the lecture topics covered in the previous term. Hence this term involve of market structures-monopoly, monopolistic competition, oligopoly.
Course Content
Imperfectly competitive markets, pricing, production decisions and economic policy tools welfare loss factor markets (labor and capital) and imperfect competition. Perfectly competitive markets, government, knowledge and understanding of the importance of public goods and the policy recommendations of general equilibrium and welfare economics concepts.
