Course Goal

The founders of economics and important economic thought schools will be explained. Contemporary economic policies are products of founding fathers and their schools. In order to understand modern economic problems and policies, fouding fathers thought should be learned.

Course Content

To explain historical development and evolution of economics science. Founding fathers like Adam Smith, David Ricardo, Jeremy Bentham, John Stuart Mill, Alfred Marshall, J. Maynard Keynez will be introduced.
