Course Goal

Students learn basic approaches about the role of enzymes in therapy and drug design by understanding the fundamental issues of enzymology,

Course Content

Students are given information about the mechanisms of action of enzymes, kinetics, artificial enzymes and enzyme molecules, enzyme production and purification, production of industrial enzymes with gene technology, immobilized enzymes, industrial applications of enzymes, enzymes used in treatment and drug design, and enzymes used in organic synthesis in this course.
