Course Goal
The aim of this course is to learn the basic concepts of character and value education; to learn the sources of values, individual, social, cultural, religious and moral foundations; understanding character and value education approaches and practices; Understanding the formation of values that enable people with different values to live together.
Course Content
Basic concepts related to value, classification of values, source of value, value education, value education in terms of educational philosophy and goals, value education approaches, character development, education and applications, teaching methods and techniques that can be used in character and value education, value education in Turkish culture
