Course Goal

This course aims to help students develop hand-eye coordination in art and design, visual perception and the creation of aesthetic values. The course also aims to guide students in producing original and creative works of art by providing them with theory and practical information necessary for creating, coloring and firing three-dimensional objects using ceramic material.

Course Content

The development of a project using ceramic material and anatomical modeling, drawing and model studies, the identification and preparation of materials suitable for forming, theoretical information about anatomy, obtaining practical information in forming stage, information on drying, finishing, oxidation, coating, glazing, the first firing and glaze firing stages, evaluation of results.
