Course Goal

Understanding the place and importance of media literacy in teaching Turkish.

Course Content

Media and media literacy concept area, information society and media literacy; media tools (television, newspaper, magazine, internet, social media etc.); critical reading, critical listening and watching; evaluation and analysis of messages; TV ads, newspaper news, TV programs, web content, etc. examination of media products.
