Course Goal

To be able to recognize the geological structure and rocks of our country, to apply sampling methods from the land, to recognize the physical properties of soils, to classify soils, to know permeability and water currents in soils, to be able to do experiments.

Course Content

Formation of soils, basic physical properties of soils, classification of soils, particle size distribution (granulometry) curve, consistency limits, classification systems, problem solving.
