Course Goal / Objective
The general aim of the course is to provide a general understanding of the basic concepts and theories of tourism economy, the economic effects of tourism and its importance in economic development and growth.
Course Content
Basic economic concepts, tourism supply and demand, tourism market, consumer and producer theories, planning and policy in tourism, growth and development in tourism, economic effects of tourism and the place and importance of tourism in economy.
