Course Goal / Objective

To teach the geological concepts related to the environment, to comprehend the effects of earthquakes, landslides and similar natural disasters on the environment.

Course Content

Rock-soil-water-air relationship, concepts related to environmental geology, parts of the earth and ground, minerals and rocks, fractures and faults in the earth's crust, their effects on the creation of artificial environment, environmental effects, groundwater and groundwater pollution, landslide and other mass movements, point-area and linear groundwater contamination.
