Course Goal / Objective
Today, the agricultural sector; It is in a great transformation with the effect of developing technology, and the future of the agricultural sector is shaped by technological applications. Examining the technological transformation process of agriculture is only possible by presenting the current practices more clearly. The use of today's communication technologies in smart farming systems and the integration of developing technologies with agricultural production are examined. It is aimed to inform students about smart farming and to create an infrastructure with basic application examples.
Course Content
Introduction of wireless communication technologies systems used in smart farming; Learning digital transformation and smart farming practices in agriculture; Introducing the necessary sensors, equipment and technologies for Smart Farming applications; By applying Smart Farming techniques, reducing chemical costs such as fertilizers and pesticides, protecting the environment by reducing these uses, providing high quality and high quality products, ensuring a more efficient flow of information for business and breeding decisions, and establishing a record order in agriculture; Smart farming practices in our country and in the world.
