Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce the Mesopotamian seal (gylptic) art of the 2nd and 1st millennium BC in terms of form, subject, style and iconography.
Course Content
It is described the Mesopotamia glyptic art of the second (Isin-Larsa, Old Babylonian, Old Assyrian, Kassitte, Middle Assyrian, Mittanni and Old - Classical Syrian Period) and first (Late Assyrian and Late Babylonian Period) millennium B.C.
