Course Goal / Objective

To provide students with knowledge and skills on standards, total quality management, the basics of quality management systems and application principles.

Course Content

Quality concept, Standard and standardization, Importance of standard in production and service sector, Total quality management, Measurement, analysis, improvement, Management quality and standards, Environmental standards, Occupational health and safety standards, Quality management system models, Strategic management, Participation in management, Process management, Resource management and the EFQM excellence model.
