Course Goal

Fundamental principles of mechanics will be taught.

Course Content

Physics and measurement, Vectors, Motion in one dimension, Planar motion, Dynamics of particle, Work and energy, Linear Momentum and Collisions, Kinematics of rotations, Rotation of a rigid object about a fixed axis, Equilibrium of solid materials, Gravitation.
