Course Goal

To be able to define the basic characteristics of agricultural production Ability to evaluate the agricultural sector's place in the national economy and its contribution to economic development and interaction with other sectors Gaining the ability to make economic ideas based on the economic problems using the basic concepts and tools of the economy in the agricultural sector To be able to define and compare the main criteria used in the evaluation of annual results of agricultural enterprises To be able to define the stages of agricultural products in agricultural products, the relationships between these stages and the main factors effecting them

Course Content

Basic concepts of agricultural economics, development process of agriculture, characteristics of agricultural sector and agricultural products, agriculture and economic development, situation in the world and Turkey, main economic concepts and principles in agriculture economics, agricultural production factors and characteristics, annual activity results and analysis in agricultural enterprises , Preparation and analysis of business balances, management of agricultural businesses, agricultural marketing, agriculture and food politics, agriculture organization and cooperative
