Course Goal
Introduction to different techniques to be used to analyse economic viability of projects and to compare alternative investments.
Course Content
Concept of time value of money, cash flow diagrams, economic equivalence, concepts about different types of project costs, regular and irregular payments and costs, Techniques used to compare alternative projects (Net Present Value, Annual Equivalent, Benefit-Cost Ratio, Internal Rate of Return etc.)
