Course Goal
With this course, the student; It is aimed to gain competencies to know the apparel production process and to know the workflow and technologies used in apparel production.
Course Content
With this course, students, recognize the garment and apparel manufacturing process technologies used in the production workflow and get to know, apparel product will gain competence to select the appropriate materials. Garment production and characteristics, organizational structure and basic work flow of apparel firms, product development section of the workflow, workflow, and is used in cutting machines and tools, sewing machines and tools used in the workflow and, ironing, packaging operations and used machinery and tools, Information on transportation systems are used in the manufacture of garments. Also excipients used in apparel products; Lining and interlining, padding, and support materials, sewing thread, power supplies, accessories, decorating supplies, labels and packaging will be informed about.
