Course Content

Definition, classification and importance of honey bee diseases and pests in terms of colony health. Bacterial, protozoan, fungal, viral diseases of honey bees, parasites, harmful insects, non-communicable diseases and diseases, poisonings caused by plants, hereditary disorders, diseases of unknown cause; meeting of bee diseases, clinical symptoms, diagnosis, prevention and control methods in laboratory environment; Spread and transmission ways of bee pests, morphology, biology and ecology, type of damage, epidemic situation, control methods.
