Course Goal

To gain knowledge and skills about gifted children and their general characteristics. To gain knowledge about the applications of gifted students in mathematics education. To gain knowledge about working with families.

Course Content

Definition and basic principles of giftedness; characteristics of gifted students; social relations and teaching situations of gifted students with other students, advantages and disadvantages of labeling; supporting the gifted students in the mathematics course, methods and techniques related to the education of gifted students; Applications and evaluation with gifted students.
