Course Goal / Objective
It aims to learn how the differences between the living things of the students arise from what they are, the genotypic effect of these differences, how the genetic information is transferred from one generation to the next, the definition and structure of genes, intergenerational interactions, genotype x environment interactions, hereditary diseases, hereditary diseases, mutations, and general principles in molecular biology, DNA and RNA constructs and functions, transcription and translation mechanisms, cloning with recombinant DNA technologies and gene expression and molecular biology methods.
Course Content
The source of the differences among living things, genotype, phenotype, transfer of genetic information from front to back, DNA and RNA structures and functions, polymerase chain reaction, transcription and translation processes, cloning with recombinant DNA technologies and gene expressions, interactions between genes, genotype x environment interactions, hereditary diseases, hereditary diseases, mutation, population genetics
