Course Goal

This course aims at bringing awareness towards the effects of media on children.

Course Content

Media theories examining the relationships between children and digital media products (cartoons, advertisements, computer games, websites, etc.); media and violence; media and bullying; media and children's rights; media influence on child development; media and childhood obesity; the role of family and school in accessing and using digital media.

Course Precondition

There is no prerequisite for this course.
