Course Goal / Objective
To teach prospective social studies teachers the importance of art and to provide practical examples of how museums can be used as an out-of-school learning environment.
Course Content
Defining concepts such as aesthetics, creativity, art criticism and art history; Examining examples of works of art created in different cultures and periods from the beginning to the present; a correct understanding of art and aesthetics; the museum and the games of the museum; the importance of using the museum for educational purposes in social studies; Social studies teaching practices in the museum.
