Course Goal / Objective
Starting from the prenatal period until the end of the age of 18, it is to monitor and produce new information and technology in order to protect and improve the physical, mental and social well-being of children and adolescents and to cure their common diseases, and to train physicians who can use them in line with the needs and expectations of the society.
Course Content
Pediatric history taking and basic examination training and practical application, preparation of inpatient file in the service, bedside training, observing examination and history taking in pediatric outpatient clinics, monitoring normal growth and development in childhood starting from the neonatal period until the age of 18, and maintaining the health status of children. Common diseases and differential diagnoses are taught with both theoretical and practical courses and emergency treatment approaches are given.
