Course Goal

The purpose of this course is to enable the students to comprehend the concepts such as ethnicity, patterns of behavior and habits regarding cultural and social structures, learn societies that have sociocultural differences.

Course Content

As in every period of history, Anatolia has geopolitical importance today. This region is an important factor in shaping international relations .Also,its historical heritage and close relationship with neighbouring countries affect its relations with the world . In this course, current different socio-cultural structures in Anatolia, and the possible consequences of the historical background of these structures are examined on the basis of the available data.
