Course Goal

The aim of the course is providing the knowledge and experience of students about the definition, characteristics, and classification of concept, effective factors in the development of the concept in early childhood period and different approaches and methods in concept teaching.

What is concept. Characteristics of concept. Theories of concept formation. Classification and abstraction. Content items of concept. Concept analysis. Conceptual development in children. Misconceptions. Caregorization
