Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide the knowledge that the act of seeing is a reception shaped by cultural determinations beyond the sense of sight. In this context, the relationship between the invention of moving images and modern thinking; The relationship between optical vision and cultural vision will be focused on from the perspective of art history and cultural history. With this perspective, it is aimed to provide students with the knowledge that the technical ontology of cinema based on moving images cannot be separated from the cultural context.
